I am a researcher in the Physics and Astronomy department at the University of Sheffield, investigating active galactic nuclei (AGN). I use observational techniques such as optical/near-infrared spectroscopy and radio interferometry to determine precise properties of outflows driven by AGN, in order to assess their true impact on host galaxies.
In the past, I have also worked as a telescope operator for the Isaac Newton Telescope, helped commission the ING `R2D2' DIMM, and investigated the evolution of light pollution at a major observatory.
